River of Life Church was born out of simple beginnings, a Bible study and meaningful porch gatherings where people came together to worship, sing, and seek the presence of the Lord. What started as small, intimate moments of community quickly grew into something more, as God began to move in powerful ways. Those early nights were marked by genuine connection, heartfelt worship, and a deep hunger for more of Him.

As the community grew, so did the vision. In 2023, we began to pray and seek God for a place to call home, a space where we could continue to grow, reach more people, and establish roots in our city. We specifically prayed for a building with room to grow, visibility, and a place that would serve as a lighthouse to our community. In May of 2024, God faithfully answered those prayers. We were blessed to purchase our church home located at 72385 LA-1077, Covington, LA 70433. This new space represents more than a building, it is a blessing of obedience from 40 people, a testimony of God’s provision and a foundation for all that He is continuing to do through River of Life Church.

As a church, wherever the Lord takes us. Yes, it is as simple as that. Everything we do is Spirit led with the ultimate goal of  glorifying His Kingdom and one day walking the streets of gold with our Creator.
